serTA is a recreational association of teachers of Scottish country dance. We ask for and hold limited personal data of members and dancers, and we use cookies on our website.

The personal data we hold is voluntarily provided by members and dancers and can include: name, email address, phone numbers and postal address as well as dance teaching qualification and first aid certification. We are required to keep that information up to date and to have a positive opt-in from you agreeing that we may contact you. We retain that personal data for up to two years after last contact.

We have a legitimate interest in processing this personal data for management of the Association and to contact you with information.  The personal data is used by the committee and stored on password protected computers. We will not share your personal data with any third party unless there is a legal obligation on us to do so.
